Сейчас самое время выше упомянутых AR Alfetta и Lancia Flaminia.
Отличия от Maserati Quattroporte - дизайн разве что. Дилеру здесь говорить вообще ничего не нужно.
Просто скажи "это Кваттропорте" - и спрос обеспечен.
Также как в своё время Мазерати раскупались, как горячие пирожки. Потому что "это те же Ferrari", только другой стиль
И это начало 2000-х, тяжёлый для Fiat период времени.
Дальше. Способность немцев превращать каждый сегмент в отхожее место всем известна. И владельцев Maserati Quattroporte прельщает
в том числе ореол эксклюзивности. Плюс высокое качество сборки, гениальные моторы, дизайн от Пининфарина.
Просто Quattroporte только один такой. Если же реализуют италы эту идею, они вернутся в Штаты королями.
AR Alfetta. Возрождённа легенда со стилем от Загато (к примеру), высокое качество, гениальные моторы, и этот самый
ореол эксклюзивности. Бестселлер? Несомненно.
То же в полной мере - Lancia Flaminia.
Наконец это недурный заработок обоим брендам.
8С - кол-во 500 штук, и по $250 тыс каждая - уже дают $125 млн. А что говорить о более массовых седанах?
Выпуск там же на заводах, где производят Quattroporte. Либо заводы Bertone, Zagato, Coggiola, Pininfarina.
Реализация вообще на вопрос - центры Maserati USA.
Курс евро против доллара также играет на поле италов. Цена высокая, соотвествующее оснащение,
имидж, стиль наконец. Bold & Beautyful. Rich & Famous.
Пойдут италы на этот шаг - респект, а не пойдут - дурачьё.

Hunday в Америке на фоне спада увеличил продажи по моему на 18% по сравнению с январем 2008. Знаешь как? Пообещал, что если покупателя в течение года после покупки авто уволят с работы, то он может вернуть машину в салон.

В связи с мировым финансовым кризисом покупательская способность новых автомобилей значительно снизилась – в Италии количество регистрируемых машин в январе текущего года по сравнению с аналогичным периодом 2008-го сократилось на треть. Власти страны надеются, что меры по стимулированию спроса помогут увеличить продажи автомобилей в этом году на 200 тысяч штук. В итоге большая часть клиентской базы "альтернативных" производителей в классе Е - Альфы и других, испарилась. Компании, кроме госорганов Италии, отказывались брать большие Альфы из-за падения стоимости, частники ушли или к конкурентам, или перешли в более компактный класс.

У мальньких Альф пока все впорядке с падением стоимости.

Alfa Romeo's new car sales in the UK dropped 19 per cent in 2008 to under 6,000 units as business slumped in the last quarter. Nicholl said he would not predict how the market would pan out in 2009 but said: "Times will be tougher, on a scale we've not seen before."

Alfa Romeo expects to sell up to 12,000 new cars in the UK this year with the Mito accounting for at least half that volume. The brand admitted some customers would switch to the supermini from the larger, seven year-old 147, which reaches the end of its run in 2009, but Nicholl was confident the new model will take a 1 per cent share of the increasingly dominant B-segment.

Nicholl said 70 per cent of the network, which Alfa has trimmed from about 80 to 46 outlets, had changed since 2006. He claimed the residual value performance of the 147 had been "destroyed by discounts" and the brand is determined the same will not happen to the Mito.

Nicholl said initial Cap Monitor forecasts put the Mito's RVs on a par with those of its main rival, the Mini, and ahead of other superminis such as the Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta and Toyota Yaris.

Mini has topped the table as the UK's slowest depreciating used car for the second year in a row. The diesel-powered Mini 1.4TD currently has an average trade-in value of 63.2 per cent, according to EurotaxGlass's.

That value is £600 less than a year ago, however, when its trade-in value was listed at 71 per cent. The Citroen C1 was ranked second, retaining 61.2 per cent of its value, followed by the Ferrari F430 Coupe/Spider with 60.9 per cent. Other new entries in the Top 10 were small, fuel-efficient and relatively inexpensive models.

They included three-year-old examples of the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107, and Smart 700 - all retail between £4,000 and £5,000 and qualify for lower levels of VED.

The Alfa Romeo 166 was left languishing at the bottom of the table, retaining just 12 per cent of its value after three years. It was joined by the Rover 45 and 75 and the Saab 9-5 all of which retained less than 18 per cent of their original list price. See the full listings below.

Лучше всего понимается кризис в цифрах, а не в процентах.
Фольксваген продал меньше на 50 тысяч машин
ПСА на 42 тысячи
ДжиЭм на 44 тысячи
Рено на 37 тысяч
Форд на 30 тысяч
Фиат на 29 тысяч

Общее падение рынка в январе на 355305 машин. Если таким темпами пойдет и дальше то за год продадут меньше на 4,3 млн. штук - это рынок России за 1,5 года.

Может в конце длинного текста маленькиое резюме, так сказать, суть написанного -- в переводе на Великий и Могучий давать? Чай, не в Америках живем!
