Bertone celebrates Centenary with historic exhibitionThe Italian design studio will celebrate its 100th Anniversary with an exhibition hosted at the Turin Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile. The event will be held from June 29 to October 14, 2012.
Titled “Cento Anni di car design” (One hundred years of car design), the exhibition will feature a number of important models penned by Bertone: from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint (1954) to the Lamborghini Miura (1966), the Lancia Stratos HF (1972) and the Fiat X1/9, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Also on display will be some iconic prototypes: the Chevrolet Corvair Testudo (1963), the Alfa Romeo Carabo (1968), the electric record vehicle ZER (1994) and the recent Jaguar B99 (2010).
The event will also feature the Nuccio Concept, the extreme sportscar already presented at this year’s Geneva and Beijing Shows.
