In 1984 there was not yet, here in Italy, the "mode" of the SW. Here they were considered as working car, but from the launch of the Volvos and Mercedes SW, more smart than a simple working car, the "mode" become increasing.
There was (and there is still now, a bit different in the contents) an Italian magazine named Auto Capital. In Auto Capital you could see only the most interesting and distinctive cars. I suppose you've understood what type of magazine it was. Its director had an idea: starting from a luxurious and sporting car, to realize a high performance, original, distinctive and able to be truly built station wagon, or, better, a smart sport wagon.
In the first months of the 1984 that idea become real: they took the third-last base of an Alfetta Quadifoglio Oro injection and then the Zagato factory built up a SW body. Surely not wonderful, but interesting and surely the result was the same the Auto Capital director wanted. This car is still in the hands of that person. My friend Gippo Salvetti, president of Alfa Blue Team, a very exclusive Alfa Romeo club in Milano, asked him for this car many times, but he said always "no."
Помогите, может все таки существует хоть одно фото? Может хотя бы в одной книге.
