Вот уж абсолютно безидейный мотор, с ужасным выпускным коллектором и маленькой турбинкой, которая работает только в середине. Звука там не было никакого на моей памяти 8)
We must also remember that the V6 Turbo was born much "bad", compared to how we know it. A couple of years ago I met another Alfa Romeo tester (now retired). He worked on the 164, and when I told him I owned a V6 Turbo, he told me...
"Oh my god that car! I remember the first prototype. The workshops had just built the first model with the new engine, and they took it to Balocco, for the first tests. We did the tests, then we called Arese and asked "Guys, are you crazy? There are two possibilities: we change completely the suspension, or you calm down this engine. Now I do not remember the exact data regarding the power generated on the dyno, but I can tell you that the first V6 turbo at Balocco circuit did a top speed of 265 km per hour. I could not keep it on track, that engine never stopped pushing."
