With a length of 4 meters, the XAα is positioned in the compact SUV/offroad market. The car is targeted to young, urban customers who want to enter the utility vehicle segment.
The design combines a dynamic look – underlined by the muscular wheelarches and the Lava Red color – with some rugged, off-road oriented features, such as the front and rear underbody protections.
The side view is quite distinctive, with the large 19-inch wheels and the straight, descending roofline, which bears some reminiscences.
The production version will make its debut in the market in 2013, while the European launch is expected for 2014.
